UK : The Bangor University Anniversary Research Scholarships in College of Arts and Humanities

The Bangor University Anniversary Research Scholarships scheme offers opportunities to the very best students to work with our leading academic figures and rising stars. This investment in research forms part of the University’s strategy to grow research excellence, and to further enhance our dynamic research environment. We are an ambitious university, committed to expanding our research capacity and our international standing.

Scholarship Information

The College of Arts and Humanities is offering 5 studentships and 11 bursaries. We welcome applications from Home/EU and International students.

Research Areas

The College welcomes applications from all its disciplines, but will use these studentships to enhance its areas of research excellence. Successful candidates will be supervised by the leaders in these fields and - whilst spending the majority of their time pursuing their studies – successful studentship applicants will also work with these leaders to support projects in the areas by acting as assistants in research, teaching, or project management.

Anniversary Scholarships Application Procedure

The application deadline is noon on 30 April 2010 and we expect to inform applicants of the outcome of their applications in June.

To apply, please complete an on-line University Postgraduate Application Form available here.

To complete an application, you must include with the Postgraduate Application Form a statement of not more than 500 words of how you could contribute to and develop the chosen research project. You should include reference to relevant previous experience, including both academic study and other experience.
