Germany : Research Fellow in Computational Chemistry-Theoretical Materials Sciences

The School of Engineering and Science at Jacobs University Bremen is looking for a Research Fellow in Computational Chemistry/Theoretical Materials Sciences

in the group of Prof. Dr. Thomas Heine. The position is part of a research project on Combinatorial Computational Materials Science, where novel materials, including metal-organic frameworks, for proton transport and gas separation shall be developed.

The successful candidate, a highly qualified junior scientist holding a Ph.D., should have an excellent track record in the fields of chemistry, physics, and/or materials science. Expertise in the fields of nanoporous materials, super computers, scripting and software development are of advantage.

We expect that the successful candidate is independently carrying out research, leads a small team of undergraduate and Ph.D. students, and participates in administrative and research group activities.
