Australia : Origin Energy PhD Scholarship to study at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland

Applications are invited for an Origin Energy PhD Scholarship to study at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland. The research will aim to develop adsorption technology to support management of wastewater generated during the development of coal seam gas (CSG) reserves. A feature of the Scholarship is the opportunity to be a part of the burgeoning CSG industry by undertaking some research and work experience at a fully operational CSG water treatment facility. 

The scholarship is open to both Australian and international applicants who are suitably qualified in the fields of chemical engineering and/or surface chemistry.  The scholarship is valued at $30,000 per annum tax free, with an additional living allowance for travel to CSG water treatment facilities.
