Norway : Post-doctoral position within the field of Developmental Psychology

A post-doctoral research fellow position in developmental psychology is available at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo. The main purpose of post-doctoral research fellowships is to qualify researchers for work in top academic positions within their disciplines. The post-doctoral research fellow is expected to participate in one of the research groups in developmental psychology at the Department, and to contribute to the development of research within one of these fields.

The appointment is for a period of 4 years with 25% compulsory work.

Qualification requirements

• In the evaluation of the applicants to the post-doctoral research fellow position, the emphasis will be on project plan, the personal and professional qualities for completion, and on the scientific publications submitted by the applicants

Interviews and trial lectures may be used in the appointment process.

It is assumed that the applicant will be able to complete the project during the appointment period. A brief budget shall be attached. The annual operating costs of the project shall not exceed NOK 20.000, -. Projects with a cost in excess of this can be rejected, unless the applicant can document funds to ensure implementation of the project.
