The salary of the position is placed on level 5 of the job requirement level chart for teaching and research staff (€2,714.54/ month + personal performance component).

The position will be filled for a fixed term from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2014.

The Postdoctoral Researcher will work as a member of the Interactive Technologies research group. In addition to research, the duties of the Postdoctoral Researcher also include teaching and supervision of students in the field of human-computer interaction with a particular emphasis on usability and user-centred design.

The languages of instruction and supervision at the School of Computing are Finnish and English.

The application should be accompanied by a research proposal and a description of how the applicant’s research and work experience will serve the department’s research in the field.
