Sweden : PhD position in African and Comparative Archaeology

Uppsala University hereby declares the following position to be open for application:

PhD position in African and Comparative Archaeology

at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History from February 1st, 2012

Post-graduate training encompasses four years. The first years is financed through a stipend and the three subsequent years with a position as a doctoral student. PhD students are expected to study full-time and to actively participate in the activities of the department. Administrative or teaching duties up to 20% at the department may be included, in which case the employment period will be extended.

The application should include copies of an undergraduate/Master paper, a brief CV, a research plan of c. 3-6 pages, any publications as well as other relevant documents.
