At the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Department of Development and Planning, a position as postdoc in Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy is open for appointment from 1 May 2016 or soon thereafter. The position is available for a period of 2 ½ years. The Department of Development and Planning conducts research and teaching on development and planning in a broad sense, including social science aspects as well as more technical aspects of development, and with a focus on environmental, international as well as administrative dimensions.
Research areas will be within Sustainability, innovation and policy, with special attention to eco-design, resource efficiency and circular economy in Danish companies. The postdoc will take part in the research and development project on Sustainable production 3.0 that is a collaboration with more than 20 Danish enterprises.
Limited teaching within the area can be expected, but also in other study programmes at the University.

Appointment as Postdoc presupposes scientific qualifications at PhD–level or similar scientific qualifications. The research potential of each applicant will be emphasized in the overall assessment. Appointment as a Postdoc cannot exceed a period of four years in total at Aalborg University.
